We offer made-to-order custom cakes. Bring us your design ideas and
we will create a custom design for your special day!

Cakes are not confirmed until they are paid in full. If you have not finalized an order over the phone in the ordering window of 4-5 business days, your order is not confirmed. Email communication is not confirmation.
Our cancellation policy is 48 hours before the day of pickup for a full refund. If you need to cancel within that period, please call the store and speak to a manager to discuss.
CAKE FAQs
Q: How far in advance do I need to order a custom cake?
A: It depends on the type of cake and design, but lead times are usually 4-5 business days in advance, and sometimes close earlier than this due to holidays or a large volume of cake orders for the week. The sooner you place your order the better!
Q: Do you have last-minute cakes available for purchase if I miss the order window?
A: Yes! Our freezers are stocked with 8" (serves 10-15) and 4" (serves 2-3) cakes weekly, in both chocolate (DF, NF, V, EF) and vanilla (DF, NF) cake flavors with vanilla frosting. We can write a custom message on these cakes if a cake decorator is in store! We try to restock these as soon as we can so everyone can get a cake.
Q: Do you make red velvet cake?
A: No, due to being dye free and other restrictions we are not able to make a red velvet cake at this time.
Q: Do you make wedding cakes?
A: Yes, but we do not specialize in detailed wedding cake orders. We do not offer anything larger than a one to two tier cake, and only offer icing work without 3D elements or flowers. If you are interested, please email bylcakes@outlook.com
Q: Do you make custom sugar cookies & cupcakes?A: Yes! We make dairy free & nut friendly sugar cookies, as well as cupcakes available in any flavors that the cakes come in.
Q: Are your cakes sugar free?
A: All of our cakes are made with cane sugar and cannot be substituted for natural sugars. We do not offer any type of birthday cake that is sweetened naturally, but we do have other desserts that are paleo, or keto items in our freezer section. Please speak to a staff member about our naturally sweetened options
Q: Are your cakes dye free?
A: Yes! All of our cakes and decor are dye free, which sometimes makes colors lighter and more pastel than any reference pictures. If you have any concerns about your design and how it will look with natural dyes, please ask a cake decorator.
Q: How do I store my cake after pickup?
A: Any cake order should have an attached cake care card with it, but if you do not have one, store the cake as follows:
If your cake contains a filling or has an icing with dairy (buttercream, cream cheese) store it in the fridge. Take the cake out to sit at room temperature for 2-3 hours before serving for the best quality- cakes can taste dry if eaten cold.
If your cake was picked up at room temp and is dairy free & has no filling, your cake is fine to leave out at room temp for 3-4 days.
Q: Do you deliver cakes?
