Benefit Your Life is a dedicated gluten free bakery in Knoxville, Tennessee, and has been serving up delicious allergen-friendly treats since 2012! We are proud to serve the community with a large variety of pastries, lunch items, smoothies, coffee, take & bakes, and more. We are a safe space for those with celiac or gluten sensitivities, and strive to have something for everyone- including options for those who are keto, paleo, dairy free, nut friendly, vegan, and more.

Q: Is everything Gluten free?

A: Yes! We are a dedicated gluten free facility that does not allow outside food into our establishment. We do not allow any wheat or gluten products in our baking or market section.

Q: Do you use tree nuts in your facility?
​
A: We use tree nuts like almonds, pecans, and walnuts in some of our product. We do our best to sanitize and always change gloves between handling allergens, but if you have a severe allergy we ask that you do not eat our pastries for your safety! If you have more questions on this topic, please call our store or ask a staff member. ​
Per the FDA, coconut is excluded from tree nuts. Coconut is present in many of our products, but we have options for those who need to avoid it!

Q: Do you use Peanuts in your baked goods?
​
A: We do not use peanut products in our kitchen or facility. We do not purchase items that contain peanuts for our market section, but please check packaging for allergen statements and facility information.

Q: Do you use Soy or Corn in your baked goods?
​
A: We do not! Our kitchen is corn free and soy free. Items in our market section may contain these allergens or be processed with them, but anything made by us will be free of these allergens.

Q: Do you make sugar free desserts/birthday cakes?
​
A: We offer many items that are made with coconut sugar, maple syrup, agave nectar, and honey instead of cane sugar- please ask a staff member if you want to look into these options! We also offer keto items made with Swerve sweetener. We do not currently offer any birthday cakes that are made without cane sugar.
Q: Do you use dyes?

A: We do not! We are completely dye free, and use only natural dyes for our cakes, cupcakes, and desserts. This includes sprinkles!

Q: What about wedding cakes?
​
A: We do offer simple, one tier wedding cakes. We also offer delivery on occasion! For any questions on this topic, please email bylcakes@outlook.com!

Q: Do you ship/deliver?

A: Our pastries are perishable and we cannot rely on shipping companies to deliver our product in good condition. We stick to serving the local community to ensure good quality!

Q: Do you carry popular gluten free brands in your market?
​
A: Yes! We've got all sorts of goodies made by other companies that are gluten free & peanut free. We keep breads, chips, candies, cookies, and more in stock from some of the top gluten free brands.
